Reveling in vagueness

So I've read the gist and I think I understand what were all saying, maybe. If an outsider read these posts they would be thinking, "Cool, but what the hell are they talking about?"

Personally, I don't think setting up consumer industry based companies is the best way to accomplish "Liberty, Justice and Reconciliation"- (insert Nate's old-fashioned manner of thinking). I think a ZINE is a good idea because it allows for freedom of thought, expression, and sharing without all the scrutiny that being a church ministry calls for - basically, Jed, based on our conversations recently, a ZINE will allow for us to say what we feel isn't being said or say what needs to be said while allowing ourselves to mature into godly men. With a ZINE, people are examining ideas and thoughts, not lifestyles and behaviors. Who knows, i just like writing and I think a ZINE would be fun and a good way to get our thoughts on Life out there.

I guess my main question that I want to ask is:

What in the world do we mean by "Liberty, Justice and Reconciliation" - It's vague

Here's my take on "liberty, justice and reconciliation": as I understand these, they seem to be some of the critical effects of the Gospel, even though they certainly are not all of the critical effects. For example - the Gospel causes the following effects:

Liberty - The sinner is no longer bound to his sin or the Law (under it he stands condemned), but set free to live righteously in Christ.

Justice - The Law has been satisfied at the cross, where Christ bore our condemnation upon Himself.

Reconciliation - Where man was alienated from God by sin, he is joined to God through Christ by faith. The reconciled saint is now entrusted with the Gospel and the ministry of reconciliation that it proclaims.

Ok, so if the Jubilee Project is going to make these the mark of their ministry, then what ways specifically do we (especially, you Sam, since this mission flowed from your mind) demonstrate this through the Project?

For example:

What ways can we demonstrate to people though the Jubilee Project the Liberty that has been provided through Christ? What avenues do we see that will maximize us manifesting these qualities?

I guess I ask this because I don't want clothing brands, coffee shops, art venues or Zines, simply cause they are a cool thing to do.

Are we trying to do these things because they are cool concepts and will motivate people, and we end up just using the Jubilee Project as the mask we are hiding these real desires under - or -

are we actually desiring to bring Liberty, Justice, and Reconciliation to people in our spheres (community, city, country world...) and we find that this is the way that we can effectively accomplish these goals and maximizes our gifts and talents?

It is vague Nate, you are absolutely right. I just posted a new comment, see that as to why it is vague, and perhaps we can move from vague to clear in time.
